Instructions for using the Collegium Civitas Library during a pandemic

From October 4, we are resuming the work of the Reading Room of the Collegium Civitas Library. We encourage you to book visits to the lending room and reading room in advance.

There is a limit of people in the Library. Information about the current limit is available at the library door.

We remind you of the obligation to cover the mouth and nose and to disinfect your hands. 

Library and reading room work schedule:

Monday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday : 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.


Weekends of part-time studies:

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.


Weekends of postgraduate studies:

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.


Library service by e-mail and phone:

At Collegium Civitas Reading Hall and Library (the Palace of Culture and Science, XI floor) the students have access to course books and obligatory readings for classes, seminars and exams. The university is subscribed to daily press as well as to multiple magazines in the Polish and English languages.

Access to E-books – Ibuk Libra
In 2021, we provide readers with access to a special collection of e-books on the Libra Ibuk portal. Access will be possible without logging in from our university’s network and after logging in from readers’ home computers. In order to obtain an access pin code, please contact the library. One-year access to the Academic Research Source Database

We are pleased to inform you that Collegium Civitas has gained access to the Academic Research Source database for the next year. The database provides access to a collection of over 190,000 e-books and 5,000 full-text journals.

Access to resources is possible on computers connected to the Collegium Civitas network or from home computers (for access from home, the login and password are the same as for other EBSCO resources)

The database contains over 1,000 full-text journals, including 9,900 peer-reviewed journals and approximately 449 full-text journals indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science, as well as an extensive collection of books, monographs and conference materials.

Duration of access: from November 22, 2021, to January 31, 2022.

Method of logging in: automatic authorization on devices connected to the Collegium Civitas internet network or by using the login and password for the EBSCO service.
