At Collegium Civitas Reading Hall and Library (the Palace of Culture and Science, XI floor) the students have access to course books and obligatory readings for classes, seminars and exams. The university is subscribed to daily press as well as to multiple magazines in the Polish and English languages.

Vacations in library

On July 1, the working hours of the Collegium Civitas Library change. During the summer, our library will be open only from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On 6 and 7 July, the library will be open according to plan (Sat 8 a.m-3 p.m. and Sun 8 a.m.-1 p.m.).

Shortened hours:
On 24 and 31 July, the library will operate on shortened hours from 8:00 to 12:00.

On 25 and 26 July, and from 1 to 18 August, the library will be closed.
During this period, you will not be able to borrow books or get confirmation on the circulation card. Please include this in your plans.
Please leave books at the reception (XII f.) and REMEMBER to let us know about it by e-mail: The holiday period does not exempt from charging library penalties.

Collegium Civitas students are welcome to use the resources of:

  • Central Library Of the Army
  • Literature House Foundation and the Houses Of Creative Work resources
  • Warsaw University Reading Hall
  • National Library Reading Hall
  • International Relations students of the specialization ”European Union” have access to resources of the College of Europe Library in Natolin.

Each computer at Collegium Civitas provides a free access to the following data bases of scientific magazines and platforms with quoting statistics:

Reading Hall computers are equipped with access to on-line archives of “Gazeta Wyborcza” and “Rzeczpospolita”. For access details ask the librarian.
