The Rector of Collegium Civitas announces an open competition for the positions of

Professor

The Rector of Collegium Civitas announces an open competition for the position of:
Professor at the Department of Management
at Collegium Civitas
Place of work: Warsaw

The person employed at the position of professor will be tasked with performing research, teaching, as well as organisational and administrative activities at Collegium Civitas. A detailed scope of responsibilities and skills will be determined on an individual basis once the competition ends.

Requirements:

  1. DSc (doktor habilitowany) degree in the field of social sciences, economic sciences or management;
  2. significant body of publications (list of scientific publications);
  3. list of research projects / grants (finished or ongoing);
  4. experience in managing research projects and/or leading research teams;
  5. experience in conducting classes, also in English;
  6. very good knowledge of Polish and English;
  7. good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team;
  8. ability to prepare research and higher education projects (at the national and international level);
  9. readiness to develop teaching and research skills;
  10. readiness to fully participate in college life at Collegium Civitas (including the Department of Management) and organisational work at university units.

We expect candidates to present a scientific development plan at a national and international level.

The ability to prepare and experience in implementing educational or implementation projects will be appreciated.

The final deadline for submitting documents (CV and cover letter) is 12:00, on 5 March 2021.

The competition will be divided into two stages:

  1. evaluation of written applications;
  2. interview with selected candidates.

The competition will end by 19 April 2021.

A Committee is established for the duration of the Competition composed of:

  2. dr Katarzyna Iwińska,
  3. dr Roland Zarzycki.

The competition may be canceled by the Rector of Collegium Civitas at any time without justification.

Assistant Professor at the Department of Management
at Collegium Civitas

The person employed at the position of assistant professor will be tasked with performing research, teaching, as well as organisational and administrative activities at Collegium Civitas. A detailed scope of responsibilities and skills will be determined on an individual basis once the competition procedure ends.

Requirements:

  1. doctoral degree in the field of social sciences, economic sciences or management;
  2. publications (list of scientific publications);
  3. list of research projects / grants (finished or ongoing);
  4. experience in conducting classes, also in English;
  5. very good knowledge of Polish and English;
  6. good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team;
  7. readiness to develop teaching and research skills;
  8. readiness to fully participate in college life at Collegium Civitas, administrative work in the Department of Management and organisational work at university units.

We expect candidates to present a scientific development plan at a national and international level.

The following will be appreciated:

  1. knowledge of the IT sector and the nature of work in a social media environment;
  2. skills in preparing scientific, educational or implementation projects;
  3. projects and activities implemented so far in the field of science and higher education.

  1. MA in the field of management or economic sciences;
  2. presentation of a planned or ongoing doctoral project;
  3. predisposition to conduct classes;
  4. readiness to develop teaching and research skills;
  5. very good knowledge of Polish and English;
  6. good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team;
  7. readiness to fully participate in college life at Collegium Civitas and organisational work at university units.

The following will be appreciated:

  1. scientific results (publications, presentations at conference, implemented or ongoing grants);
  2. projects and activities implemented so far in the field of science and higher education.

The final deadline for submitting documents (CV and cover letter) is 12:00, on 5 March 2021. Documents need to be submitted to the Rector’s Office (room 1224) or sent by post. The date of receipt by the university shall apply.
