Dear Candidates:

The winter intake 2018/2019 started on November 6, 2018. The Spring Semester starts on February 25,2019. You can find the offer for the Spring Semester here.

 

For international candidates the winter admissions deadline is January 25, 2019.

 

Due to the time-consuming visa procedures resulting from the number of candidates interested in studying in Poland we strongly encourage candidates from South Asia, MENA and African countries to apply not later than December 20, 2018.

 

For Polish residents or foreigners who have been granted a residence permit to settle in Poland (Karta Pobytu) the admissions deadline is February 10, 2019.

 

Please, kindly note that the number of study places at Collegium Civitas is limited. We cordially invite you to apply as soon as possible!

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

  1. Find the right course for you If you are not sure which course at Collegium Civitas would suit you best please visit our website: academic offer
  2. Fill in an Application Form
  3. Pay the application fee
  4. Submit your application as early as possible You have to send the application form and required documents by regular post (candidates residing in Poland) or via email (international candidates). Check out the list of documents which you need to submit to apply.
  5. Outcome of the assessment. Within 2 weeks you will receive information concerning the outcome of your application through the Collegium Civitas on-line admissions platform. Please note that in special circumstances the assessment can take longer than 2 weeks.
  6. Payment of the entry and tuition fee
  7. Reception of the official Acceptance Letter. We will issue a final Acceptance Letter as soon as your payment is confirmed. The letter will be sent to you by post.
  8. Arrival in Warsaw. Once in Warsaw, please bring the originals of your application documents. Do not forget to bring all originals of the documents to the Admissions Office as well as 2 passport photos (sample). Should you fail to do so, you will not be allowed to begin your studies.

Candidates with Polish Bachelor diploma

Check the ways of applying for studies:
1. Groups of candidates which are eligible to undertake studies on the terms applicable to Polish citizens

  1. Proof of English proficiency

Candidates applying on the terms applicable to Polish citizens are expected to submit either their Matura English result or any certificate of English proficiency.

Candidates applying on different terms than applicable to Polish citizens must send a certificate of English proficiency unless they have finished their education in English. Here is a list of tests and passing scores scores that we accept.

Required documents

  1. Printed and signed Application Form
  2. Copy of a Bachelor diploma with a copy of a transcript of records with grading scale. A transcript is an official written document which lists and certifies previous school achievements and explains the grading system applied.
  3. Apostille of the Bachelor’s degree certificate

If a university degree certificate has been issued by an institution working in an education system of the country participating in the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961, legalization is carried out in the form of Apostille placed in the original document or attached to it.

The register of the countries belonging to the Convention or the institutions entitled to issuing Apostille can be obtained here

  1. Copy of translation of a Bachelor’s degree certificate and transcript of records into Polish or English
  2. Copy of your passport or official ID (only the page(s) showing name, picture and passport number)
  3. Copy of a valid health insurance policy or European Health Insurance Card (after acceptance) (only for those who apply on different terms than applicable to Polish citizens)
  4. Receipt of payment of the Application Fee of 290 PLN paid to Collegium Civitas.

Candidates with non EU, OECD, EFTA diploma

Required documents

  1. Printed and signed Application Form

  3. Apostille or Legalization of the Bachelor’s degree certificate

If your country is not participating in the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 you should present a Legalization of your Bachelor degree certificate. The legalization can be issued by:

– the Polish consul in the country where the university degree certificate was issued or in the country in which the education system and University operate;

– education authorities in the country where a university degree certificate was issued or in the country in which education system and University operate;

– an embassy or consulate of the country where the university degree certificate was issued, located in Poland, in other EU, EFTA or OECD countries, or in the country in which the education system and University operate.

  1. Official confirmation concerning your eligibility to apply for Master programmes

Copy of a certificate stating that the submitted Bachelor diploma entitles the holder to apply for Master studies in the country of issue (only if there is no such a comment/line stating such an entitlement on the diploma/transcript). Such a statement should be issued or certified by:

– the institution that issued the Bachelor diploma

– the education authorities of the country that issued the aforementioned Bachelor diploma or in whose system of education the University operates

The confirmation concerning your eligibility to apply for Master programmes is not necessary in the case of:

– diplomas or other documents issued by Universities operating in education systems of EU, OECD or EFTA members, which allow access to higher education institutions in those countries (at present: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Mexico, Germany, Norway, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, USA, Hungary, United Kingdom, Italy).

– diplomas issued in countries with which Poland has signed bilateral agreements concerning the recognition of education for example: China, Belarus, Ukraine (diplomas issued under agreements which have expired will still be recognized on the basis of those agreements).
