Collegium Civitas was the first non-state university in Poland to introduce academic programs conducted entirely in English. From the very beginning we have been gathering priceless experience, establishing a network of international contacts and welcoming students from all over the world.

Our Focus 

Contemporary world is not just a number of countries and states existing side by side, the world we live in is a real Global Village and all the key social, economic and political problems must now be seen at a trans-national level rather than at the level of an individual state. Accordingly, choosing to study International Relations in English you take up one of the most exciting fields to endeavor.
The program puts an emphasis on the theory of the principal disciplines of international relations combined with a strong pragmatic focus. We are determined to offer our students a non-commonplace approach to the discipline of international relations itself and make the program as practical and market-oriented as possible. A considerable portion of the program is devoted to developing practical debating and negotiation skills. Students acquire a sound knowledge of fundamental theories and a rigorous training on applying practices in various professional settings, particularly in government and business. 


Undergraduate (BA) and Graduate (MA) Programs in English 

Our programs in English are concentrated in the Department of International Relations. The Department itself concentrates its research and teaching efforts in several key areas: Diplomacy, Intercultural Communication, International Media, East European and Russian Studies, and International Negotiations. The rich variety of BA Tracks and MA Specializations is destined to offer you the choice of disciplines of your interest within the wide area of International Relations and their corresponding fields.
Collegium Civitas offers also two specializations, that is Asian Studies and Public Policy and Administration, which are co-financed by the EU, are offered respectively by the Department of Political Science and the Department of Sociology.
