At Collegium Civitas Reading Hall and Library (the Palace of Culture and Science, XI floor, room 1106) the students have access to course books and obligatory readings for classes, seminars and exams. The university is subscribed to daily press as well as to multiple magazines in the Polish and English languages.

Collegium Civitas Library Rules and Regulations

Access to E-books – Ibuk Libra
In 2021, we provide readers with access to a special collection of e-books on the Libra Ibuk portal. Access will be possible without logging in from our university’s network and after logging in from readers’ home computers. In order to obtain an access pin code, please contact the library. On this occasion, we also invite you to use the Open Textbook Library platform, which offers English-language academic textbooks in an open license https://open.umn.edu/opentextbooks

Test access to EBSCO Academic Research Source collection

Collegium Civitas obtained test access to the EBSCO Academic Research Source collection. Access will be active from March 15 for two months. Access will be possible directly from the ebsco.host search engine. To use the collection, you must be connected to the Collegium Civitas Internet network or log in with our EBSCO password (if you want to use the second option, please contact us: library@civitas.edu.pl)

Academic Research Source as the perfect complement to Academic Source Ultimate this database supports curricula and creates one of the world’s largest collection of magazines (more than 5 000), eBooks (more than 213 000), video’s and other publications. On the publishers lists there are such well-known international companies as: Bloomsbury Visual Arts, Birkhäuser, De Gruyter, transcript Verlag, Emerald Publishing, Artech House Publisher and many university presses like McGill-Queen’s University Press, University of Nevada Press, University of Chicago Press Amsterdam University Press, The MIT Press, University of Illinois Press, or Yale University Press.
