Since the end of the Cold War, more and more specialists in distinct fields pay attention to what is designated as a critical condition for maintaining a stable peace: reconciliation between former enemies. Using the case studies of post-World War II German-Polish and Korean-Japanese relationships, we will try to draw some practices for the future relations between Poland and Germany and Korea and Japan.
